I have been reading up on aperture the last few days and I was going to post my photo experiments today while at the same time posting an awesome new recipe I invented but, I was defeated by a few disasters:
First, the lighting is so unappetizing after the sun sets. No matter what, it's way too harsh in my kitchen. And this recipe deserves a better shot.
Second, my camera battery died. I didn't even know it was low.
Third, I thought I'd scrape the aperture idea and just post the photo/recipe with my phone's camera. Oooooglay.
Fourth, I let my batteries charge but by then the food was eaten (what do you expect from me) and I reminded myself that the lighting was terrible anyway.
Fifth, I thought I'd experiment with the aperture using my clock as the subject. But I didn't give it my all, the photos didn't depict what I was trying to do, the subject was kind of boring, the lighting was still bad, etc. etc. sooo...
Here is one picture of the clock. And here are the thoughts going through my head at almost 9 PM on a Friday night.
Tomorrow, I will try again.
